The California Legislature is about to make two Islamic religious holidays into official state holidays. The bill has already passed unanimously through the two committees needed. No Jewish or Christian holiday is an official state holiday, and I am writing about how it is especially bad that these two Islamic holidays are being honored given what they are about.
