In a bold move to energize the base and reach out to wary voters, Joe Lisuzzo, President of the West Los Angeles Republican Assembly (WLARA), has unveiled an expansive billboard campaign dubbed the “Had Enough!” initiative aimed at promoting Republican candidates ahead of the crucial November 5, 2024 elections. With its catchy messaging plastered across multiple locations in South Los Angeles County and North Orange County, this campaign aims to resonate with disenfranchised voters who feel unrepresented by the current establishment.
In a statement provided to the California Republican Assembly (CRA), Lisuzzo emphasized the campaign’s inclusive approach, targeting not only staunch Republicans but also Independent and Democrat voters disillusioned by an array of ongoing issues within their communities. “The ‘Had Enough/Vote Republican’ electronic billboard freeway campaign was designed to benefit all Republican candidates running for office in California. Our goal was to reach out to all voters, especially Independent and Democrat voters, who have ‘Had Enough’ of recurring problems that have not been resolved by those currently in office,” he said.
A unique feature of the campaign is its bilingual messaging, which Lisuzzo proudly pointed out: “We are also excited to announce that we are providing these billboards in English and Spanish! We feel it very important to reach out to our large Hispanic community, whose concern for family values and public safety is very much in alignment with Republican principles.”
The billboards highlight the urgent call for fiscal responsibility and accountability, critiquing what Lisuzzo describes as the failures of California’s Democrat supermajority. He contends that the only remedy for the state’s ongoing challenges is a shift back to Republican governance. “We’ve seen how the existing Democrat supermajority, in California’s state and local government, has proven itself to have failed ‘We the People.’ The only way now to fix these problems is to ‘Vote Republican’ and simply replace those who are presently in charge,” Lisuzzo affirmed.
The campaign is expected to make a significant impact, with countless motorists traversing Southern California’s highways and byways. “It’s exciting to realize that our electronic billboard campaign will be spreading this message to millions of motorists in Southern California, where one third of California’s voters reside,” he added.
As the November elections draw near, this grassroots effort embodies the determination of the West Los Angeles Republican Assembly to sway undecided voters and reaffirm conservative values in a traditionally liberal state. With the CRA’s robust support and ongoing efforts, the “Had Enough!” campaign is poised to become a rallying point for Republican candidates, all while fostering broader discussions about the future direction of California.
