SACRAMENTO, CA – May 31, 2024– The California Republican Assembly (CRA) strongly denounces the recent verdict against President Donald Trump in the New York trial. The Democratic witch hunt against our great President has once again exposed their blatant attempts to undermine the will of the American people and subvert the rule of law.

Carl Brickey, President of CRA, stated, “The verdict against President Trump is a politically motivated ploy by the Democrats to smear his name and discredit his accomplishments. This trial was nothing more than a desperate attempt to continue their agenda of division and obstruction. The California Republican Assembly stands with President Trump and will not be silenced by the ruthless tactics of the Left.”

CRA stands behind our endorsed candidate and the presumptive Republican nominee for President, Donald Trump. We believe that he is the best candidate to uphold the American principles of individual liberty, limited government, and the rule of law.

“It is clear that the Democrats are subverting these principles by weaponizing the justice system against their political opponents, as seen in the case against President Trump”, said Craig DeLuz, Director of Communications for CRA. “This undermines respect and trust in our federal and state government institutions and turns our democratic republic into a banana republic.”

Under President Trump’s leadership, our country saw unprecedented economic growth, job creation, and protection of our national security. President Trump has fulfilled his promises to the American people and the Democrats are afraid of his continued success.

CRA calls on all Americans to stand with us and President Trump in the face of these ruthless tactics. We must protect our constitutional republic and ensure that the justice system is not used as a tool for political gain. President Trump has proven time and time again that he will always stand for the American people and their best interests. Let us join together and support him in his continued fight for our country.
