As we join our family, friends, and colleagues this Thanksgiving Day, let us remember to thank God for being able to live in America. Let’s include in our Thanksgiving prayer during our meal for a complete healing of our nation and for God driven leadership from our elected officials.

I pray this prayer (Galatians 6:9):

Father in Heaven, I hope that You would give every leader strength so that they will not become weary in their job as a leader. Father, the chores may appear onerous and demanding, but I pray that every leader recognizes that they have been tasked with carrying out Your will. As a result, I am confident that if they do not quit, they will reap the harvest/rewards at the appropriate moment. Lord, I pray for supernatural power for every leader and for them to rely on You rather than on themselves. Amen.
