In 2014, No Member of the State Senate Scored 100%. Mike Morrell and Joel Anderson were both over 90%.
Republican Anthony Cannella scored 35%, eclipsing his previous record low of 41%. (Abel Maldonado with 29% several years back is the all-time record holder for the lowest scoring Republican) In Cannella’s defense, his district is 14 points to the good for the democrats.
Showing the partisan divide, Lou Correa (whose 42% score in 2013 was higher than Cannella’s 41%)… seems to have returned to his roots, leading the Democrat Caucus with a 17% score.
In the Assembly in 2014, it was much better. Five members scored 99% or 100%. Still more were in the high 90’s, showing the Assembly Republican Caucus commitment to defending the taxpayers.
Scandal-Riddled former democrat Assembly-member Steve Fox scored 61% while Republican Katcho Achadjian whose coastal district is democrat-leaning scored a GOP-Low 63%. Only two other democrats scored over 11% – Rudy Salas whose central valley district is a constant target and Sharon Quirk-Silva who got her “Butt Kicked” by Young Kim.
